The Section holds a celebration marking the Women's Day

In the presence of the President of the University of Technology Prof. Amin Douai and the Head of the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abbar Khalif held a special ceremony in the hall of Mr. Jassim Al-Hayani on the occasion of Women's Day. Where the ceremony was opened by a speech from the distinguished president of the university, in which he mentioned the distinguished role played by the Iraqi woman in education and in supporting the wheel of development and education in the country. He praised the role of women in the department of production engineering and minerals from the teaching staff and engineers to the administrators and wished them success and success in this light On the occasion of the occasion, the scientific assistant Dr. Aseel Hamad Abdul Kalma stated the honorable positions that women play in the society in general and in the educational environment, in particular, and Eng. Asaad Hasan Al-Zamili participated in the announcement of the glorification of Iraqi women in all fields of society. A special taste for the atmosphere of this celebration was the presence of Prof. Dr. Nawal Ezzat as well as Assist. Prof.Dr.Mai George. The ceremony concluded by taking commemorative pictures to commemorate this beautiful anniversary


 

Workshop for teachers and staff of the department

Under the patronage of the Head of the Department of Production and Metal Engineering, the Unit for the follow-up of graduates in the department held a workshop for the teaching staff of the department and the students of the fourth stage on the evaluation of engineering materials using the electronic microscope scanner. The workshop received a remarkable success through the dialogue and the group of inquiries. In conclusion, we thank all who contributed to the success of this workshop.

Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif, head of the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy, participated in the second international scientific conference titled "Integrating the Educational System between the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research - Obstacles and Success" University of Al-Mustafa at the Hall of Tamooze at the Ishtar Sheraton Hotel at 9 am on Saturday, 2018/3/17..

 

Participation in an international scientific conference

 Sponsored by Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al Essa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the theme of Sustainable Engineering and its Applications, in cooperation with the IEEE International Foundation. Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif, Head of Production and Metallurgy Engineering Department, and Mr. Ahmed Abdel-Rahim Shnaoua, participated in the second international scientific conference and the first in the applications of sustainable engineering held at the Faculty of Engineering / Wasit University, held on 14-15 March 2018. Their participation in the research entitled: ))(System Aided 3D Object Reconstruction and Machining using CNC milling.
The conference was attended by researchers from different countries of the world as well as researchers from different universities in Iraq. The number of accepted researches and participation in the conference reached 49 out of 150 researches distributed in six axes: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials.
