Scientific Visit

In recognition of the University's technological logo, which is being sought by the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering, the Industrial Engineering Branch visited the General Company for Construction Industries / Al-Nu'man factory on Thursday, 22/2/2018 for the students of the third and fourth stage and their professors: Assist. Prof. Lama Adnan, Assist. Prof. Amjad Barzan, Assist. Dr. Omar Hashim, assistant lecturer Majda Khalid, assistant lecturer Mohammed Rajeh and most of the teaching section.
The meeting was held with the Director General of the company Engineer Mohamed Faraj Hassan, who said in a brief speech to welcome the teachers and students and that the company opens its doors to the projects and research students and professors and provide them with the requirements of scientific research and drew attention to workshops production as follows:
 Metal workshop, which was introduced in the stages of manufacturing the valve base gas bottle.
A workshop for the manufacture of plastic pipes of various sizes and lengths and the stages of manufacturing were reviewed.
 Plastic containers manufacturing workshop where it is a modern workshop and advanced technology using injection machines and molding.
 Workshop for the manufacture of parts of the system of drip irrigation, which contains a large number of thermal presses and was seen on the types of molds used. The part under manufacture was plastic windows for air coolers as well as the part for fixing the sleeves.
 The engineering testing and quality control laboratories of the factory were inspected.
 The plastic waste recycling workshop was examined to obtain the polyethylene granules used as raw material in the plastic industry.
After that, the teachers of the branch gave their thanks and gratitude on behalf of the university and the department of engineering of production and Metallurgy and stressed the need to communicate and the actual presence of the university through the professors and students in the real world after the industry took the memorial pictures and gave the university team the same hospitality and honor received.

Branch Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Engineering discussed a seminar project for fourth-stage students

   On February 22, 2018, Branch Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Engineering held the Seminar Session in the hall of prpf.Dr. Ibrahim Mansour to discuss the projects of the fourth stage students in the branch in the presence of the scientific deputy Asst.prof.Dr. Aseel Hamad Abdul and Mr. Head of Branch Asst.prof.Dr. Ahmed Abdul Samiea, where students briefly reviewed the most important achievements achieved in their projects and their discussion through the scientific queries raised by the committee in addition to valuable interventions for the attendance.

  The session of the seminar for the master students in the department of engineering of production and metalluragy was held at 10 am on Tuesday 20/2/2018, at the hall ofprof. Dr. Ibrahim Mansour.The committee of the seminars was composed of the scientific deputy Asst.prof.Dr. Aseel Hamad Abdul, prof.Dr Mona Khudair Abbas, Asst.prof.Dr. Saad Kareem Shathar and Asst.prof.Dr.Esraa Abdel Kader. The meeting was attended by the head of the department, Asst.prof.Dr. Ali Abar Khalif and a number of professors and postgraduate students where the session covered the scientific atmosphere of asking queries and dialogue for all the research presented and
