The President of the University of Technology is Inspecting The Progress of The Students' Examinations in The Department

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Amin Doway Thamir, inspected the examinations of the students of the preliminary studies in the Production Engineering and Metallurgy Department on Tuesday, 1/9/2018 and accompanied by the Head of Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif where the President of the University of Technology listened to the views the students inquired about the nature of the questions and their suitability for the time specified for the exams and showed its valuable guidance to take into account the time and also to ensure the comprehensiveness of the questions and their clarity.

Mining and Extraction Engineering Branch Meeting

Assist. Prof. Dr. Sami Ibrahim Jafar, Head of the Mining and Extraction Engineering Branch, met with the members of the branch in the presence of the Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif, on Monday 8/1/2018 in the hall of Dr. Ibrahim Mansour. The head of the department discussed the questions of the members of the branch and answered them comprehensively and announced his support to complete the march of the branch through its decision to allow the graduates of the branch to apply a master in .Metals with a Bachelor's Degree in Extraction and a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering for Masters Degree Extraction

The head of department review the Scrutiny of post graduate examinations

On the morning of Monday, 8/1/2018, the head of the department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif, inspected the examinations of the first course for postgraduate students where he listened to the students' views on the nature of the questions and their conformity with the general methodology of the scientific subjects. The Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy holds a scientific seminar on the development of laboratory equipment

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, our department held on Sunday morning 8/1/2017 the seminar titled "The Central Symposium for the Development of Laboratory Testing Devices and its Role in Improving Quality Standards and Laboratory Accreditation"
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Amin Douai Thamer, delivered a speech in which he said: The development of the equipment in the fields of mechanical, chemical, electrical, plastic and other fields has a role in supplying quality indicators and laboratory accreditation. During the seminar to be complementary to what started the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy in achieving the objectives of the productive university and to achieve its objectives through the importance of laboratories and the development of its equipment. Mr. Ali Abbar Khalif, the head of the department, said: "The seminar purposes to raise the performance of scientific laboratories by applying the quality standards correctly, and also to work on introducing the correct bases to achieve the optimum success of laboratory work. He also praised the continued support by Mr. President of the University to establish specialized seminars for quality, especially in the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy. The seminar included two sessions, the first headed by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Kazim, manager of the Center for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research at the University, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Mohammed a teacher in the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy, as its Coordinator, including four lectures on the (implementation of ISO17025: in calibration and listing laboratories) Dr. Kifaya Aboud Mohammed Al-Saffar from the University of Degla College and the second lecture on "The strategic dimensions of the development of laboratory testing devices and their role in raising standards of quality and laboratory accreditation" by Dr. Abdul Khaleq Fawzi, Director of Division Quality assurance and university performance in the Department of Production Engineering and Dr. Jameel Mousa Dabbab of Mustansiriya University, Faculty of Science, and the fourth and last ("Advanced and pioneering scientific laboratories and its importance in the quality of engineering education in oil and gas specialties"). Dr. Khalid Ajami Sooker Scientific Assistant to the Head of Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology.
The second session will be chaired by Dr. Abdul Khaleq Fawzi, Dr. Mohannad Mohammed the Coordinator, first lecturer on the role of laboratory tests in the completion of urban projects, was presented by Dr. Hassanein Mohammed Hussein, manager of the Office of Scientific and Engineering Consultations at the University of Technology, and the second of "Laboratory Biological Laboratory Protocols Quality Tools and Reliability" Abdul-Redha Al-Bakri, Head of Environmental Technologies Department, Environmental Research Center, University of Technology, and Third, Development of Microscopes, by ASEL Basem Abdel-Hussain, Materials Engineering Department, University of Technology, and IV. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Abdul-Jabbar, Director of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology and the fifth (on the quality scale of the Thomson Reuter Effect in Scientific Publishing) by Dr. Rahman Ismail Mahdi from the Center for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Research and Sixth The last of the advanced laboratory quality standards was delivered by Dr. Zaynab Nasser Jameel, Quality Assurance and University Performance Manager at the Department of Communications Engineering, Sanaa Abdulhadi Hafez, Chairman of the Laboratory Accreditation Committee at the Center for Energy Technology and Renewable Energies, University of Technology. Allen Force has been estimated distribution of certificates to the participants by the President of the Section
