Assist. Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohamed Osman, Director of the Center for Continuing Education, presented a certificate of thanks and appreciation to the Production Engineering and Metallurgy department, delivered by the Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif and others, to Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdulkhalik Fawzi for the efforts of the distinguished section in the preparation and organization and the adoption of the rehabilitation and development program in the field of quality and reliability to qualify quality specialists and supervisors and cadres of laboratories of engineering and scientific departments at the University of Technology in our glue university… Through the establishment of the department for a series of specialized courses and seminars in the field of quality and laboratory accreditation and in particular the basic course tagged "GLP Practice Course and Events is the cornerstone in all laboratory activities" which will be attended by more than 130 participants from our university, which will be an important adjunct in providing the classification of our university laboratories among Iraqi universities, and will have a great impact in the development of the capabilities and skills of our university cadres in the field of management and quality assurance and laboratory accreditation. It is worth mentioning that the participation of the department for this program is one of the most important achievements of the department for the current year

Joint Cooperation between the Department and the Center of Continuing Education in the Establishment of the Good Laboratory Practice Course |

Within the framework of the qualification and development program in the field of quality and reliability for the qualification of quality specialists and supervisors and cadres of the laboratories of the engineering and scientific departments at the University of Technology, the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering organized in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education. The basic course marked (GLP is the cornerstone of all laboratory activities) A number of staff members participated in this session under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif. The proceedings of the symposium were conducted by Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Khaliq Fawzi Hammoud in the presence of more than 130 participants from our university glue. The main objective of this course was to upgrade the classification of the classification form of the laboratories of the University of Technology among the Iraqi universities, by clarifying the ten main axes for describing the practices of the good teaching laboratory to be applied to the university laboratories, at the end of the symposium, Assist. A delegation from the Military Industries Company visited the Production Engineering and Metallurgy department on Tuesday morning, 26/12/2017 within the mechanism of cooperation concluded between the two parties, Head of the depatment Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif met with the next delegation in the presence of the Scientific Deputy, Dr. Aseel Hamad Abdul, Administrative Deputy, Dr. Bahaa Sami Mahdi, and the head of mining and extraction branch, Dr. Sami Ibrahim, in addition to the director of laboratories Dr. Imad Ali Hussein. The head of the department opened the meeting with a speech in which he pointed to the importance of this joint cooperation in terms of exchanging experiences and contributing in providing the company with possible solutions through scientific consultations and benefiting from the laboratories of the department in the scientific research of the company. He also appreciated the important role played by the Military Industries Company, especially in this circumstance Which requires mobilization of energies and efforts to support the army and security forces at all levels. Dr. Bahaa Sami Mahdi, the administrative Deputy, accompanied the delegation with a tour of the laboratories of the department accompanied by the director of laboratories, where a comprehensive review of the most important laboratory equipment available in the department

The Head of the Department, Assist Prof. Dr. Ali Abar Khalif and a number of the department's staff and graduate students, attended the symposium held by the Center of Nanotechnology under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Amin Daway Thamir "Sound Management of Scientific Research and Participation in world conferences" The university theater on the morning of Monday, 25/12/2017 where the symposium opened verses from the Quran recited by Engineer Asaad Hassan Leftah, and the opening speech was a specialized study by the respected President of the University… The symposium discussed several important scientific papers in the field of writing scientific research and participation in scientific conferences, including a paper by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Al-Tamimi, director of the Nanotechnology and the lecturer in the metallurgy engineering branch, and another by Dr. Abdul Khaleq Fawzi, Mining Engineering and Mineral Extraction In addition, Assist Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Mohamed participated in the Production Engineering Branch as establisher in one of the scientific sessions of the symposium. |
