A delegation from Production Engineering and Metallurgical Department signs a scientific cooperation mechanism with the General Company for Hydraulic Industries

A delegation from the Production Engineering and Metallurgical Department visited the headquarters of the General Company for Hydraulic Industries on Thursday 11/17/2022, where the delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Mona Khudair Abbas, Head of the Production Engineering and Metallurgical Department, was accompanied by: Dr. Muhannad Muhammad Hussein, the scientific assistant. Dr. Aseel Hamad Abd and Prof. Dr. Abdullah Farag and Dr. Mazen Ghazi and Dr. Muhannad Qusai, department rapporteur, and was in the reception of the delegation on behalf of Mr. General Manager of the General Company for Hydraulic Industries, Assistant General Manager, Engineer (Imad Karim Muhammad), and in the presence of a number of advanced cadres in the company. The meeting was held in the company's meeting room, where many important proposals were discussed and studied Paragraphs of the initial minutes of the joint cooperation agreement and fixing the appropriate amendments. The capabilities available to the company that serve cooperation between the two parties were reviewed, and the willingness of the two parties to exchange experiences and scientific and research cooperation was reviewed. The joint scientific cooperation mechanism that the two parties discussed aimed at sustaining and enhancing cooperation and integrating the capabilities of the two parties in the field of scientific research, transfer and localization of technology, and scientific cooperation in the field of conducting engineering tests for both sides in various fields, cooperation in using laboratories to conduct tests, and scientific cooperation in the field of holding specialized workshops and seminars and cooperation in The field of supporting publications, dissertations, scientific research, and the establishment of development courses. The delegation toured a number of the laboratories of the General Company for Hydraulic Industries and a number of departments to get acquainted with the specialized activities. The tour concluded at the Hydraulic Technology Center, where the laboratories owned by the center were visited, in addition to the training halls, which are equipped with all the necessary supplies that qualify them to organize development courses in the field of hydraulics.
