The Production Engineering and Metallurgy Department hosts the “Balash of the Base” dialogue forum

 

Under the patronage of the President of the University of TechnologyDr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Research and Development Division of the Scientific Assistant’s Office at the University of Technology, in cooperation with Kapita Company, held the dialogue forum “Bashed from the Base” within the initiative of the Orange Corners Baghdad Program for Youth Training, in the hall of the Department of Production and Minerals Engineering, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies A .Dr. Haider Abed Dahoud, Head of the Production Engineering and Metallurgy Department, Prof.Dr. Mona Khudair Abbas and a number of department heads, teachers and university students. The forum aimed to urge students to develop their ideas and develop them to be the nucleus of developing projects and to move towards the private sector. Within this initiative, the labor market, youth opportunities in the private sector, and the importance of emerging, medium and small projects in developing the private sector in Iraq were discussed. The scientific assistant to the president of the university, Prof. Haider Abed Dahd, indicated in his speech to the university's vision in developing and developing students' skills. While the official of the Research and Development Division at the university, Dr. Amjad Al-Ezzi about the current programs implemented by the Division for the training and development of students and the upcoming programs. The Director of Research and Development at Kapita Company and the Orange Corner Program Officer, in their speeches, addressed entrepreneurship and how the company provides support to young people to develop their project ideas. The forum concluded with a speech by Dr. Mustafa Al Emara, a specialist in entrepreneurship and development programs, in which he gave a detailed explanation of the concept of a business incubator.
