Each of the Dr. Sami Ibrahim Jaafar and Dr. Sami Abu Al-Noon Ajeel, two faculty members in the Metallurgical Engineering Branch of the Production Engineering and Metallurgy Department, and their PhD student Zaman Abdel-Razzaq Abdel-Wahab received a patent in the design and manufacture of a device for measuring fatigue rates Constant and time Instead of finding the relationship between stress and the number of cycles in old devices and finding the fatigue limit automatically through programming for the relationship above, the device also records the failure stress by fatigue and allows the device to use different corrosive chemical solutions. This device is useful for parts that are under constant stresses and exposed to corrosive media.
