The head of the department in a visit to one of the University's Technological flags

The Head of Department, Asst.prof.Dr. Ali Abar Khalif, pay visited Dr. Mohammed Jawad al-Turanji one of the flags of the Technological University and one of the pillars of mechanical engineering in Iraq on Saturday, 27/1/2018 where he assured his health and listened to the valuable recommendations resulting from his long experiences in teaching and management. Dr. Mohammed al-Turanji conveyed warm greetings to the head of the department and to the all of the brothers, friends, professors, colleagues and dear students at the Technological University in general and in the department of production engineering and matallurgy in particular. For his part, the head of the department called for him by healt and success.

Activities of the Department of Production and Metallurgy Engineering / Quality Committee

Within the activities of the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy / Quality Committee. As directed by the head of the Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy Asst.prof.Dr. Ali Abar Khalif .Conducting a review and evaluation of quality management systems for oil and industrial facilities.Where, the Central Authority of the Iraqi Drilling Company specialized in digging oil wells north of Baghdad was visited and the ISO 9001 quality management system and the HSE management system were inspected according to OHSAS18001. Knowing the company have the above certificates. The visit will be followed by a review of the quality and safety management system of the Chinese company Zbek specialized in drilling systems slant within the same sites. The Chairman of the Commission thanked Engineer Hassanein Technological University / Department of Production Engineering and Metallurgy for being the only specialist in these aspects of quality and peace. The Director of Quality Assurance and University Performance, Asst.prof.Dr. Abdul Khaleq Fawzi Hammoud. This is the first visit that will be followed by the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding scientific and research cooperation with the Iraqi Drilling Company in support of the scientific movement in Iraq beloved.
